The Nutcracker

Today we went to the nutcracker ballet in Denver!! We got free tickets because two schools canceled and half of the theater would have been empty so they gave them to our homeschool group! It was so much fun :)  All of the dancers were really good.  They all had those special ballet shoes where its hard at the tip of them so they could stand on the tip of their toes.  Actually they shuffled around on the tip of their toes too! It looked very uncomfortable!  But at the same time very cool!  When we got home from that, I had to go to basketball practice, and after that we went to a Robin Hood play which one of my friends was in! It was really cute!  So today I had a very busy day, but it was fun :)

Oh my goodness! I totally forgot about Aubree's play! And I really wanted to go see it! Oh, I feel so bad. :( Anyway, I might see her on Monday, right? So excited to go to OCC!

Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving we went to my cousins house in Parker which was really fun!  My Aunt and Uncle from Canada came to town also! They said it was really special for them because they always celebrate Canadian thanksgiving but it had  been a long time since they celebrated the American thanksgiving with a lot of family.  We ate lots and lots of food that day.  I was really excited for thanksgiving because it was the first day we could have sugar in 3 weeks. I know it doesn't seem like a long time but it was for me! While we were at my cousins house we played air-soft in the dark for an hour and a half! It was really fun.  After that we played cranium and then watched the movie despicable me 2.  I wish I took some pictures, but I didn't :(

SCHOOL IS OVER!!

So obviously its been a while since I last posted....but I am back!! So this last week was our finals for Omnibus.  We had to study.....and study.....and do more studying.  We had two exams that each took about 3 hours.  Or somewhere around there, it was a really long time! And we had to write two full essays in each and answer a bunch of other questions :( But we took them and now we are done!!! I still have to do a little math and Spanish during the summer, but that's okay. But we are going to be rather busy during the summer so I don't know how much I am actually going to get done :P Well anyways, I am so happy that my regular school is over! We are about to go camping at Chatfield for two weeks!! That should be really fun especially since we are going to have a lot of friend over to hang out with us!  This is a sunset picture I took the other day! It was beautiful!

Civil War Ball

On Saturday was the Civil War Ball! I had been looking forward to that day since the last one ended(which was a year ago:). It was so much fun! It was better than I had hoped it would be! :) Here are some pictures of it. These are most of my friends who were at the ball! Except for the girl on the far right in the light blue, I have absolutely no clue who she is or why she in our picture :) But that fine! This is me(right), Alyssa Monk(left), and Noah Otto.
