Civil War Ball

Image
On Saturday was the Civil War Ball! I had been looking forward to that day since the last one ended(which was a year ago:). It was so much fun! It was better than I had hoped it would be! :) Here are some pictures of it. These are most of my friends who were at the ball! Except for the girl on the far right in the light blue, I have absolutely no clue who she is or why she in our picture :) But that fine! This is me(right), Alyssa Monk(left), and Noah Otto. We were doing the hat dance, which is a really fun one :) Carter dancing with one of my friends! Me dancing with Justin Trout :) Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Getting all pretty!! Look at the pretty hair! :) Aubree in the process of getting her hair done! Me with my cousin, who did a really good job on my hair!! Thanks Jaclyn! :) Everybody looks so beautiful! =D

The Nutcracker

Today we went to the nutcracker ballet in Denver!! We got free tickets because two schools canceled and half of the theater would have been empty so they gave them to our homeschool group! It was so much fun :)  All of the dancers were really good.  They all had those special ballet shoes where its hard at the tip of them so they could stand on the tip of their toes.  Actually they shuffled around on the tip of their toes too! It looked very uncomfortable!  But at the same time very cool!  When we got home from that, I had to go to basketball practice, and after that we went to a Robin Hood play which one of my friends was in! It was really cute!  So today I had a very busy day, but it was fun :)
